Software implementation is where all the pieces are finally tied together. The carefully crafted and engineered software is delivered to the client, but there is certainly more to it than just a CD.

ALERIANT implementation process starts almost right from the beginning of the project. We follow a comprehensive process validated by industry standards. A typical implementation includes the following:

• Assess current hardware capabilities
• Assess current software distribution network
• Suggest hardware / communications / distribution channels and infrastructure
• Identify top quality providers
• Install new hardware / communication / distribution channels and infrastructure
• Install new software and databases
• Perform initial user and technical training of project team / knowledge transfer
• Validate software delivery
• Provide workflow diagrams for new system architecture
• Define system data

  - Populate base tables

  - Cleanse existing data for conversion / migration

  - Migrate cleansed data to new system

• Develop an integrated test plan
• Document new policies and procedures for users
• Finalize system security
• Train remaining users and technical personnel
• Pilot system (execution of integrated test plan)
• Benchmark system performance at pilot
